The Award “Professor Dr. Milan Stojsic” is established to commemorate a caring father and mentor, and at the same time to recognize and reward an outstanding young people at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, who pursue their interest in learning and education with vigor and open mind, demonstrating excellence and success in their studies, and at the Technical School “Mileva Maric-Einstein” in Novi Sad. Each year an outstanding student at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad will receive a diploma and a reward for academic success. The faculty and students at the Department of Water Management nominate students, according to their GPA and other extracurricular activities. The Board of Trustees makes final decision upon recommendation by the Faculty Council. The Award is presented in January of each year, when the student is in her or his senior year. It is a part of the traditional Symposia that are held in memory of Professor Stojsic at the Faculty of Agriculture. At the Technical School “Mileva Maric-Einstein” in Novi Sad, an outstanding graduating student from the concentration in Hydrology, receives the Award. The faculty and the students make nominations, and the Board of Trustees makes final decision based on their recommendation. The Award is presented in June, at the end of the Academic year, at the School’s traditional ceremony recognizing success of students graduating with honors in variety of disciplines. The Award is also a diploma and a reward.
